Might be slighly off the subject, but has anyone tried the ' V power' fuel from Shell. Its the replacement fuel for optimax, developed by Fiat I mean Ferrari?

Tescos 99 octane is E10 or E15 afaik, so just petrol and ethanol, so its cheap and the engine will run cooler

I remember reading somewhere (what car mag or something) that Tesco fuel isn't as good as optimax, despite being 99 RON?

Always use V-power, great fuel as far as pump fuels go. Every day is a school day ...........

Isnt optimax 99 octane any way just the same as the Tesco fuel, heard fuel on the continent has a higher octane rating maybe by 1 or 2 RON numbers may just be wishfull thinking tho.
