I really don't like the way that they bolt together ..... at best I'd think it would be a little flexible, you might bend or brake the bolt and hello .... no steering!!

If I was going to make one I'd want the 'spacer' to be all one piece going through both the arm and rose joint with the maximum diameter possible and probably try to keep the fasteners duties to just holding it in the desired lcations and not be directly load bearing ........

Actuall, I'd prefer to have the arm cranked than have the spacer at all.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Also, I don't like the position of the joint at rest / ride height. If it had been designed properly I'd ahve thought that at normal ride height / straight ahead position the joint would be nearer it's mid position.

If you wanted them cranked in two planes, then they'll cost more. Simple.

By having the tapered sleeve seperate, it allows folks to change it themselves depending on their suspension travel at their chosen ride-height.

End of the day - as i understand - these are used on most (all?) miglias. Clearly the guys prefer a stout arm that adds to the unsprung weight than have a bendy / failure-waiting-to-happen arm?

How many people have actualy broken a steering arm under normal conditions?

And when i say normal conditions i mean not being smacked into the tyre wall at 70mph*wink*

yeah but add slicks and good tarmac into the equation and i guess its a different story?

Whether they break them, or just feel they flex i dont know.
