It seems as Minisport are making 33mm small bore inlets form their catalogue. They might come in handy. Getting hold of the 32mm Rimflow ones are diffucult. After doing a couple of 202 heads recently, it's obvious that the exh throat is severely restrictive. the 1" valve surely does nothing for flow. I'm trying a 26,5 or 27mm exh valve here on my 1130 (?) Should do the job.

are 295's & 202's exhausts comparable?

I was under the impression the 295 was more like the 940 (from memory the cross sections in viz's yellow book suggest so aswell)

The 295 has got a slightly bigger port runner volume, but the shape is similar and valve sizes are both 1" which does not at all help for flow.

Joe or Benross, why did you have to upsize the intake valve? Couldn’t you have replaced the valve seat and still used the 30.93mm?

Joe, what did you do with your 30.93 intakes….did you return them or are you stuck with them?
