its easy for us to judge them, when were all safe in our homes thousands of miles away from the trouble isnt it? well what ever the politics of the war or whether the soldiers are being very silly and having a laugh they are still risking there lives 24 7. and in my opinion they deserve medals. i would have honestly think that they are trained not to stop at all, otherwise they could be ambushed.

Wow Vegard. You really are spreading this video and your misinformed opinion evenly through the Mini forums, aren't you?

We have no idea about the circumstances surrounding this video. It is lacking perspective and context. And without any of this, it is impossible to draw conclusions. Were these soldiers on a mission? Were they delivering an injured child to a hospital? You just don't know. The 'damned americans' type comments are just not warranted.

Hey guys. Remember this, it is a war zone over there. The gentile driving laws of peacetime that we all know and live by do not apply there.

The soldiers are trained to keep moving no matter what. ie...they are never to sit still in traffic because they are moving targets.

Soldiers are not given free reign and use of govt issued vehicles. So you can rule out the 'joy ride' accusations.

And according to an Iranian friend of mine, bumping in this manner is an accepted way of getting the attention of the vehicle in front of you in many third world countries.

Was going to go off on a rant, but Lance covered it nicely...

adjust the sound on your pc's and you can hear the horn on the hummer going full time...for a vehicle that size, it's pretty weak
