all ill do to it is have cd player and maybe some 6x9 speakers just to kill the bordam of driving somthing a bit dull!

Fiesta Zetec 1.25, great little bombproof engine, cheap to run and insure.

I bought a Honda Civic 1.6 16 1990 on a G plate last summer, cost me £500 has done 150k and still pulls like a train!

Golfs are great!!!! Only problem for you is that they are popular so not a 2p car to buy!!!

Stick to Jap. You'll pay over the odds for German which is no more reliable than Jap (less so in many cases). Parts for Euro cars generally cost more than Jap.

Gotta agree that Toyotas etc are on par with the Germans but not as pricey. My sister's Yaris was the most reliable car we've ever had in the house. Mind you we have an Alpha, Renault and Rover at the moment so thats not hard. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

a -07 Touran TDI! Ohh, Im sorry it was just my new company car. Got it last monday, and its free!! Free diesel and no costs at all :)

trya 1.8TD mondeo mine was £300 to buy and about hte same to insure. even wit hthe boost upped to 19psi and fueling mod's it stil returned 100 miles to a tenner.
turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I insured my 944s2 as an everyday car for much less than either of those prices Josh ..... have you been a very naughty boy or something???? Every day is a school day ...........

1.0 12v Corsas are actually quicker than the 1.2 8v ones.......

Personally I would steer clear of the 1.25 Fiesta's, had to drive one as i hire car and they are piss slow for a 1.25, the Micra 1.2 I drove after was much quicker (for the same size engine)! :)

the old bubble micras are ok. Ultra realiable and proven to be faster than a 200+bhp 20v turbo leon. |

The only thing I'd do if I had to drive a micra all the time is tint the windows (limo style) so no one could see in! Lol
