is it ok to mount the EDIS next to the megajolt unit. im planning on putting both of them behind me glovebox area. but theyll probably only be a couple of inches apart, will this be ok?

Ive got them both in there nice and dry, edis heat sinks to the bulkhead and there is easy/tidy access to the mj.

You could remove the clamp off your dizzy blanking plug, they don't fall out. The MRA ones don't acctually come out (if you can get them in!!)

Terry, I have my EDIS unit and coilpack mounted exactly as you have described.

I fabbed up a small bracket to attach the coilpack to the existing bracket out of 3mm ali. However, this has since cracked over months of harsh ride abuse, and so I am thinking of adding some rubber damping to the mount holes.

The EDIS unit is simply bolted to the bulkhead beside the wiper motor.

finally made up my mind, got all of the gubbins bolted in now, and pluged in to each other (the standard ford loom i got with the edis stuff was the perfect length, so used it without any modification :) )

stole the coil pack position off rallymini, looks spot on

stuck the edis 4 bit above the offside tower bolt with a bit of a heat sink out of an old car stereo attached

just need to wire it to the car now, make sure its firing at 10 btdc and then stick the mj on
