mine was rusted. I think I managed to tap it with and hammer and a punch.. right pain but had been in there for more than 30 years.. Edited by gr4h4m on 28th Jan, 2010. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

There is a gasket between the mounting plate and the bulkhead, on my 1990 car there is anyway. It is a very thin rubber job. I think there is one between the cylinder and the plate too. You need to stop water getting in so gaskets are required.
