I ensured my car with miniworld, £130 f/c, track cover etc etc and an agreed value too, well chuffed!

I'm glad lots of people are finding HIC good value .... I've used them for years and recomended them to countless people.

There is another side to insurance of course .... when you need to make a claim.

Have no fear on that score as they have done me proud on several occasions when people have run into the back of me (3 times in London, once in Watford ...... never anywhere else!!!!!!!).

They also settled in 3 working days when my Golf G60 was nicked ......

Thats good to hear Roger, that they provide a good sevice..Ive heard different but I guess all cases are different!

Ive used them for 3 years now, never made a claim, but prices are the bollox. :)

Heard similar but I don't think you always get to hear the full story.

Be very, very honets with them as to what has been done and get he agreed valuation so they have photos, send them far more than they ask for so they have everything on file.

If you change something tell them before you drive out of the garage.

Not saying this for HIC but all insurance companies.

9/10 none payment of claims can be put down to the vehicle / personal history of the driver not being what they thought.

I always do, 2 A4 pages of mods, photos etc the lot. Lol They have no excuses then. :)
