When I tried it I thought it wouldn't work but yes the salt goes very damp and sticks together. I put mine in the oven at a really low heat (it was still in the ice cream tub) for an hour or 2 and it was ready to go again. It would be better to spread it over an oven tray and put the heat up higher but I was lazy. That reminds me, mines still in the kitchen, better put it in the car. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

you could get a de humidifier from argos or summit, just sit it in the car and plug it in, it will dry the fella out real fast !! you will only need a lil one and they 8nt expensive. once that is done u can rely on the bucket of salt
