It gives a really really smooth finish, rather than a trowled finish where you can see small lumps/bumps etc.

powerfloat is like an upside down helicopter,the blades are adjustable in pitch and rotate to polish, flat ish to start with to draw the grout to the surface then increase the angle to polish off as the surface hardens, |
