PPS - I once bought a T shirt in Italy which had a slogan on the front which read "Made by those lazy Italian Bastards!!" - does that mean you can be racist to yourself?

I will try and make my point again , then promise to shut the fuck up , before i become a complete boring arse !!
If [for example] a sentence has an unnesessary use of a derogatory term describing a general group / race of people , then it is bigoted/racist .
eg the thread 'Pikey/gypsy thieving bastards' would not have been 'English thieving bastard' if I had raided Dave's folks farm , it would have been 'Thieving Bastard'
This might not seem very important , but you only have to read the hate and loathing this created in the replys.
Hate and bigotry doesn't solve anything , all it does is create more alienation and more lawless ,theiving bastards !
As a realy daft example , if someone with a turbo mini stole some 'a' series parts , would that justify mini owners calling for retribution or even death to all turbo mini owners because you are a minority amongst mini owners ?

In direct reply to people advocating death for theiving , maybe they should go live somewhere governed by islamic sharia law , where you lose varying degrees of body parts depending on what you've stolen or no. of offenses , or maybe your wife /girlfreind gets stoned to death for getting raped ! lovely gentle civilised places like that would welcome you with open arms , oh, what do you mean you don't fancy moving ?

Well its an interesting debate, however my view is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, whether it is considered correct by the majority or not, for example I am not concerned about the colour of someones skin or where they come from, that is my view, however if I said that I do not like people with white skin then I am perfectly entitled to hold that opinion, whether everyone else agrees with it or not.

ive never met anyone with white skin before, not unless they've been painting walls in white dulux or something! met loads of people with pinkish/white skin tho
