Yeah pretty much, it's actually veru good with the toyo888 in the wet so long as there isn't loads of standing water. Very suprised how grippy they are in the wet compared to the OE bridgestones. Vast improvement

saw this yesterday, so jealous. Cracking example for the cash. I just need to finish the mini turbo and get saving... an elise will definitely be my next 'second' car.

Top choice as ever alex. *happy*

Top TOP stuff.

LOL Alex ... each to there own!

My problem with the Elise is that it's not as capable as something like a good spec 7esq car on the track and not really practical as an everyday driver (lets see you get the monthly shop in there lol).

I just can't see where it fits! I'd rather have two cars each excellent at one end of the spectrum than one compromised one (that is what I did a 7esq car and a Passat Estate).

Just personal prefernce ...... I'm glad that your super happy with it and hope you enjoy it for a very long time mate.

Ah, but I have no where to put a 7, and prefer the look of the elise. I have no more space on the drive, so another car to go with it isnt an option. Also, a good spec 'kit car' is going to cost more than the elise on its own, let alone a kit car and a daily driver.

well im jealous, i love these. worked on a couple. only thing i struggle with, being a little on the lardy side is getting in and out. looks like a nice example, well done.

id love a go in the later ones with the toyota engine in especially the supercharged one.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Carl, I know what you mean, you wouldn't want to try and get into one in a short skirt, not that I've tried.

I drove one round Coombe a few weeks back and loved it, they are fantastic cars.

The only thing that put me off getting one is that it would only be a matter of days before I lost either my license or my life if I drove one on the road, as they seem to be more fun the more you use your right foot.
