Jon, well both i guess in turns of BHP (but of course there is more in the car if i had more money to spend), but in terms of performance yes that as well as i can't see how i can do much more to it to improve the performance for what the car has been built for, which is on the road moving, 35mph to 120 mph + at little!

You what Mark??

Matt, think we've had this one before. Yes your car has a huge BHP figure and if my memory serves me right you run a tall diff,2.9 maybe. Ofcourse such a combo will give a very good top end but i know from my own personal experience a tall diff does'nt allways mean a slow 0-60. The torque of an A series turbo does all the work..Minimark(geordie tosser!) knows all about a too low final drive and the problems it causes with wheel spin off the mark(by "mark i mean start line not Mark, mark??confused i am!)

The last couple of seasons have been a bit of a disaster engine wise, both strange odd problems that don't happen very often, just bad luck. But last years motor that packed up at Avonpark was until it packed up was a schorcher, it would do well over 7000rpm in top and pulled like a train. As for the 35-120 arguement this motor was up with any a series engine. The same motor pulled 105 over the line with a crap start and a dodgy gear change up to 3rd.

Maybe we should get off the subject of bhp and talk about lap times, brakes or suspension?

Matt, don't get me wrong i am not having a go, all this is type in a softly softly tone.

Living so close to santa pod i see all the show boating of cossies and skylines nearly every weekend, alot of junctions have massive "dohnut" black rings on them..fooking wow!

It is saturday night and i have a social life to attend to so i am off on the pop!

New Engine going together tomorrow..lovely jubbly!!

Adios!

LOL Jon but you said about BHP figs!! I said *wink*

"just need to get a cam!
not a lot more i can do to mine in terms of performance "

I see what your saying mate, about lap times etc but all that doesn't really "Float my Boat" if you know my meaning, nothing wrong with it, as things that float my boat probalay don't float yours, it's a good job we all like different things*happy*

Just curious but looking at the website it looks to be ?50 for the weekend? ?25 to get in and ?25 to run? Or is it just ?25 to run and get in? Does that include bringing a passenger? i.e. is the entry price per car?

Probably missed something somewhere! *smiley*

Believe me, there is plenty of entertainment anyway!

Furthermore; if you've been doing the social aspect properly, even if she is there, you wouldn't be up to it...

Yeah, i remember MITP 2003!! was a little worse for wear!

Ill be bringing a bbq, may as well make it a TM bbq so if anybody just wants to bring things to eat and drink then go for it, plenty of space in the van for my to take the bbq and stuff so no worries.

Saves having 20 different bbq's i guess doesnt it! You can cook your own food on it if you dont trust me!!! lol! *happy*

push it onto the road outside the track and phone your breakdown people. you've gotta have breakdown cover if you've got a mini. i managed to rip my exhaust off last year on the way off the campsite...pisser!
