Ok due to the guy who bought it dropping out this engine is up for sale again! As before, its still in the car luckily so you can see it running.

hi, this still for sale? PM me with details, such as, is gearbox/diff standard? do you have any idea of bhp etc? i am in manchester so i'm guessing is quite far away, but i am interested if still for sale, cheers |

It is and the gearbox's have to remain standard for class A (with the exception of a central oil pickup, which it has), so its MG Metro gearset with 3.4 diff.

Ok after plenty of people assuring me they 'need' this engine 'as soon as possible' and going through the motions with a number of them its up for sale again!

Nope afraid not, as mentioned above the gearbox must remain std to meet the regs, only modification allowed is a central oil pickup.

i take it from the size of the pistons the block is not a linered one ?

EMT may be interested he needs a block to run 1293 so this may be too big for him, i am yet to check my garage for him.
