JD88,

It's great to see that new users are researching using older posts. But check the date of the last post of the thread.

Since this, I have destroyed the gearbox and spent 8 months rebuilding the majority of the car!

Check my car's page in the new flashy portion of the site.
http://www.turbominis.co.uk/car/8/

It looks more like this now...

I did try a set of bumpers on and didn't like it.

That was a while ago though. So I might try again and see if my taste has changed.

I've no idea where the dash is from as I bought it about 2 years ago and have the memory of a stoned goldfish.

Naahh remove the lip for the win.

Whats the point in bumpers? Not gonna "bump" anything are they, just get bent to fuck if you hit anything along with the rest of the front end innevitably lol.

Love this car.

Indeed, bumpers or bumperless with no lip. I had mine bumperless and loved it, but when the new front end went on I put the bumpers on and I really like it like that now.

I was worried about removing the lips incase I had a change of heart (or Vegard bullied me into fitting bumpers)

Tin foil might be a plan! It might act as a makeshift crumple zone as an added bonus.

Leyland, Lancs

There's a seller on Ebay selling fibreglass bumpers with fittings moulded in if you're worried about weight!
