I am almost finished with the exhaust manifold, now I have to built an inlet manifold.
Question, do the two pipes have to be of the same lenght? or can I offset the carb a little? it would help a lot if i could play a little.

Might not be the best design, but it sure works.

dan,

I dont have the equipment to weld stainless my self, so I patched it together and a had a friend do the full welding.
Im happy with the peformance, 136Hp on the dyno.
I messured the 0-60 time with a G-Tech yesterday. 7.18s on the second try. (With spinning Flaken tires *smiley*

I wrapped it 2 weeks ago to get the heat out off the engine bay. Maybe I should remove it again!?

Progress so far, downpipe and exhaust have been sorted.
the inlet manifold has been extended. and the plenum is upside down
Feel free to make me or break me, Ill proceed anyway, all input is welcome. *happy*

This lot will raise my dashpot through the bonnet, i will cut a hole in the bonnet. therefore i am looking for a blue or red anodized dashpot, anyone kicking about?

Pete, manifolds are sorted for now. i will go for finishing the turbo project first, Iff I need to remake manifolds later than I have the experiance now how not to do things. Thanks anyway its appreciated. It would be very helpfull if you could enlighten me about stronger gearboxes, what I need, and where to get it.
I had broken gearboxes more often in the past, they seem not very reliable.

The entire weight of the turbo bein supported on teh manifold?? just ask coz its quite a lump, and its also quite far away from the engine so wil have a lot of force acting on teh welds that join to the flange that mates to teh head.

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
