Hi a quick question for you F/I genius's I have fitted the supercharger about but the car only starts when it wants to. Does the timing have to be set differently from N/A for it to start. I have it booked into the rolling road but I just wanted to know it went before I sent it down and it only starts every now and then?

Thanks

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Well I sorted the starting issue it wasn't getting the fuel into the carb.. had to unblock the breather/overflow thing.

Anyway had it down the RR and they did a great job setting it up I dont tun the car past 4500 as its older than me.. anyway it made 61 (6-7 PSI) at the wheels at 4400rpm and it was still pulling... great result for a bolt-on kit and a bit of BENROSS magic on the head

Lovely job, that's over 70ftlbs of torque too, which could be 100 at the fly.

Hi all. I have had a few runs in my 998. I'm wondering about breathing.

I had a tappet chest breather on the timing cover side. I have swapped it to the over side so I can run a a pipe off of it to a catch tank. However I'm getting an oil leak from the timing cover side which I havenever had before. As part of the kit I fitted a new bottom pulley which was from a 1275. looking on the minispares site these doesn't see to be a differance in the timing cover oil seals for 1275 or 998's. I might have damaged the seal when I put the pulley on but I was careful or I was wondering if its due to moving the tappet chest breather to the clutch side?

Can you fit something to the timing cover and then fit a pipe to the catch tank?

Anyway thanks for any help
