£750! and i just cant believe how much car for the money, full electrics/leather etc It does have a few niggles though, the ABS module is dead, and has a warped front disc, the guy threw in a full set of discs and pads, a new ignition module and turbo oil return seal/gasket (which was fortunate when it let go on the way back) Richie, been on there and everyone seems to rave about those budget rica chips, look very good value, but ill stick with the £10 bleed valve for now :) One thing I was dissapointed with, and I know i have no one to blame but myself, but when fixing the turbo leak on the way home i realised it was fwd, WHY!!?? Oh well. coz they drive like shite as it is :) i have a spare ABS module and pump if you want to buy it, PM me a realistic offer psml. mind make sure it is not a wheelspeed sensor first ! everyone jumps on the ABS band wagon the first thing to fail is the wheelspeed sensor, get the codes read, is it OBD2 or the fly lead type ? if its OBD2 the coin holder opens and the DIN plug is there if it is fly lead type the ports are situated on the air box to the right next to the washer bottle RICA is the way forward mate you will realise this once you have put holes in ure pistons with ure bleed valve. there is more to it than chucking on a bleed valve ! the engines are way more complex than minis, for instance the engine has cold start system which limits the boost, summit simple like a thermostat being shagged will slow the car down ! also the maff sensors are a tad twitchy. Another thing to check is fire the car up and take the dip stick out, if you get puffs of smoke ure breathers are blocked and you best sort em otherwise the bottom crank seals go which are twatfull !!! the seals are like 20p but its a £800 gearbox and clutch off job and if you have read the haynes you have pretty much got to destroy the car to do this :) also watch out for it popping out of second gear when decelerating they are nortorious for this too !

jesus !!! she was a right dog too lmao :) wonder what i would get for mine, 1 previous keeper full history, 138K new discs new shocks, new wheelspeed sensors, roof rails,2.3 20v T5 turbo 225bhp, 155mph (confirmed) GLT spec (top end spec) with winter pack, and its black too ! only bad point is the selector fork for second is worn (common issue) and it occasionally slips out of second gear going down the box. even have spare ABS pump and ECU

if it is fly lead type the ports are situated on the air box to the right next to the washer bottle
that car died when it went off the road at 80 mph having struck black ice, a wall then flew 6ft in the air for 15 feet before landing in a farmers field, and i say no airbags deployed and the driver opened the door and walked away !!! vulva's...i mean volvo's rule !
