the timing is as good as spot on besides i have adjusted it slightly either way to see if this helps the problem but it doesnt. as for the pipe going to the inlet of turbo do you mean for the air filter or the one on turbo that goes to actuator. both of these have been replaced and at first i thought it was the intake pipe as it was slightly squashed not much room down their so i removed it to try it and it made no difference.

UPdate i tried the tee piece again last night and it made little if any difference. so i richened it up abit more with mixture and no difeerence. but then all of a sudden the car wont idle and it just hunts for fuel thats what sounds like then cuts out. so i tried either way with mixture and that made no difference. so i got fed up left it til today. tried it today and i got it to run but with little choke even when warm so rich up more and it didnt really sound right like it was to rich but lean if off a tad and it stall. in end i got it to idle but not very well drove it back from my mates house and it is like a sack of shit now it wont boost well it will slighly but thats about it. it feels really lean but any more richer on idle and it no good. needle valve is working fine.

the on ly thing i can think of now is the carb choke seals as ive read these go the carb is only bit i havnt rebuilt i should really do this. do you think this could be the problem. i did notice little bit of fumes coming out of what looked like the throttle spindle does this mean seals are fuCked. there was definatly fumes from around the carb only alittle.

any help please guys

been fiddling about and i took t piece off and set it up to idle and it seems ok on idle again now but it still wont rev past about 5.5k in 3rd and 4th gear about 4.5k. i have turnt boost right down and this made a slight difference i.e about 200rpm. I still guessing its carb issue as this is only thing i havent rebuilt abart from new needle valve. im getting another carb to try should have it by middle of week. has anyone else got any more suggestions. would be great if you could as i have tried all i no and all comments and done my searches for differnt things even silly little things and tried these but no go.

thank you
