Yeh, and a third one died on the line.

In fact, the classic minis were the more reliable. Quite surprising when you consider how sticky the track was.

Big it up for that man Nic 1st 12.9 *tongue* also great achievment to Tom (Force racing test driver) with the 2nd 12.9 *smiley*
Sat I had a big barby for the wifes birthday, and the weather turned sh-t late afternoon aswell as cheking the old met office forecast for Santa Pod I quote "thunder and heavy rain" made the decison to forget MITP. But to my surprise Sun moring appeared reasonable but didn't think the weather was going to hold so didn't take the car (What a bad move that was *crying*) just ventured up to the Pod with my young lad and Paul for what turned out to be a great day for some blistering times aswell as alot of track time. Maybe there are some better times still to come as the 60fts were well down.
P.S well done John Haston with a PB 12.2

one had his diff blow i think then kept driving it. there was a little bit of track action yesterday, but it got rained off very quickly - there was an awesome mk1 escort that was pulling wheelies off the line and a couple of v8 funny cars too

Just got home, brilliant day, good to see some f***ing great turbo mini`s whooping ass!But its given me even more inspiration to build a turbo! The Yellow one has it got a Bmw head on it?And Toms went like f*** brilliant.

I want one!

p.s Shame about the mud!A bit more organisation would of had more mini`s and traders on the hard standing next to the track!
well thats what me and me dad thought!

No gas this weekend, was planning to run it Sunday afternoon however firing a core plug out of the front of the block put paid to the don's runs a bit earlier than planned. Core plug was replaced but found a split in the rad, rethink required on cooling system.
