I think the best way is to hide the nitrous bottle under the passenger seat cushion.

oh - hang on, hasn't that already been done in class B for several years??

matt and tom, are these times with gas?

I've actually been faster without gas than I could manage with it, my 12.79 was without gas.

But the rest of the times I posted were using gas, just look at the differences in the speed gained in the last 1/8, up to 30mph compared to 20mph without the gas.

power = speed...its as simple as that.

Unfortunately power doesnt always = better ET's as traction really comes into it...or more, lack of traction.

But speed gained over the last 1/8th, and over all trap speed is a good indicator of there is any power there or not.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

a comparison of acceleration using these numbers between people would compare power/weight ratios of our cars. quick glance over the figures so far shows im well off teh pace! and just cheating with tyres lol

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Proven 200+bhp & Avon Park 05,06,07 Class D 3rd place

I better check my tickets, as it seems that all cars do about 22 to 23 mph after the 1/8.

Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph
First 5 port miniturbo to make over 200 bhp on a carb?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

1/8 8.9996 @ 83.05
1/4 13.7359 @ 99.48

so 16.43mph in 4.7363s

You can so tell i'm running out of revs and the power just drops off.

maybe got some more time to come off my runs yet *happy*
