I've just done my turbo head now. Well, for a friend of mine. I've left lots of meat around the exhaust valve guide and opened up the chamber. I managed 26cc on a std Spi head which is OK for the use. A friend of mine has got a very midified MED head ( the only oart of the engine he bought that was useable. Sounds familiar eh Jim?) and it looked to be huge, but it was only 27cc.

I've skimmed the block 1mm to increase squish as even if the CR is higher the extra squish will reduce detonation. We're aiming for a bit under 8:1 comp with a T2.

I'll get some pictures when it's skimmed.

Here's Petter Jakob's MED head ( At a guess this is crap as well, but we don't dare to take it apart.) :)

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
