Its not that hard to grasp, Pressure=Force/Area, place a fat bird in stillettos and the heel will pierce concrete, put her in a pair of pumps and she should be able to walk on sand without sinking.....

The place local to me isnt that good, and they usually have paddles of different shapes in stock. So I'd like to think other places who re-con clutches would have too.

Friction does have a 'measurement' - a measurement is a value afterall. IT is however, dimensionless - ie it has no units.

Put that in your titanium pipe and smoke it.
