Greypride... have you sat your engine forward at all or is on the original mounting holes....
Im fittin a t2 soon and just wondered cos it sure looks tight down there.
Front space isnt a prob for me cos its a clubman

With a T2 the engine can be left in standard position. But to give a little extra clearance i'd recommend an ultimate style engine top support and increae the length of the standard engine support to match.

i was just having a bad day yesterday and EVERYTHING went wrong, fiddling down the back of the engine can get a bit annoying after a while

we're friends again today and ive started to fiddle once more, and ive had some help offered me from someone who actually knows what theyre doing

stressed eric was a cartoon,which when he gets stressed a little vein by the temple in his head would start to throb. mine was doing it yesterday

Nic, is that acutator mount going to be strong enough??? Looks pretty weedy to me - especially if you want to be putting a bit of pre-load on it...

yes it was! ive changed it now to something slightly stronger, but i think i may have a look at changing this too

wahoo off to mirage this weekend for some twiddling and a little help, then if all is well im planning on taking it to vmax to be set up!!wahoo yayoyay

Mayb its an optical illusion as there are no arches and you can see more tyre then normal.

rich, now that you have seen many of my bodges i would of thought that even i wouldnt do that, if i was going to balance it id have some bracket lovingly made out of scrap metal with a few bends and pop rivets thrown in for good measure!

she now in one piece and yesterday she fired up! a huge thanks to the guys at mirage for spending a whole day righting my wrongs and generally making sure my car was tiptop, before making it run and then sending me on my way

here she is now (unfortunately i forgot to take one of it with the front on):

now my baby is resting at vmax waiting to be set up and then stuart is taking her for the mot!fingers crossed

in a turbophil stylee it is ready for mitp (no disasters allowing)

crud, just noticed the airfilter is in the way of the titanium rod

hey trough good to see you here, and just what was wrong with those 'brackets' that were on there before, is that how you spell trough...troff..you know the things

thats a jolly expensive race alternator, or not, it came of a dihatsu charade and with a bit of filing, some sticky back plastic and a hammer, bobs your uncle abraa cadabraa a slinky alternator for £10

fingers crossed for the mot, i hope they dont mind the porr attempt at attaching the tempory no plate and the blowing exhaust
