Yes when it comes to snow 32's and 48's aren't the best due to having only 17% tread. I have some spare wheels with rather rugged 145 for snow. But we don't get snow in winter, we just get more rain!

we have also got to remeber the relative weight of the mini to the size of the tyre.

even the best wet weather tyre on a 13 inch wheel will aquaplane anyway , but obvisly some will handle it better than others.

mind you if its raining i always take it easy any way in the mini so not normally a problem.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

my 048r's were the soft compound and i got a track day at oulton park (about 40 laps) 9k daily drive and 27 laps of the ring out of them and the rears are still useable (for track only)
