Yes when it comes to snow 32's and 48's aren't the best due to having only 17% tread. I have some spare wheels with rather rugged 145 for snow. But we don't get snow in winter, we just get more rain! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

we have also got to remeber the relative weight of the mini to the size of the tyre.

my 048r's were the soft compound and i got a track day at oulton park (about 40 laps) 9k daily drive and 27 laps of the ring out of them and the rears are still useable (for track only) TurboDave said
