Book it into an MOT somewhere local to your house, job done! *wink*

Whether you take it to the MOT or not is your choice? You may aswell just to see what work needs to be done if any?

If the cars wheels are on the ground....then it must comply with all the silly laws of the land with regards to cars.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

only for recovering a broken down car not moving one. lol. so could get done there.

i think the best option here is to get it trailered home or ask who ever your buying it off to MOT it?

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

If you get stuck I can tow you (any evening or weekend after the 7th) as long as you can find a suitable trailer (note I will not tow a bodged heap of shit).

personally i wouldnt want to drive a car thats been sat for 3 years! just looked on route planner and its abou 70 miles, correct?

if it is correct most recovery people will charge approx a quid a mile. so for 70 quid is it worth taking any risks?

I agree, You could be paying 30 quid for rent of a trailer and more than 40quid petrol. So either get some1 you know wit a trailer or a company to recover.

thanks people. I checked with the police today and they said i would have to book it into an mot station as near to where i bought it as possible. then if it passes to the nearest post office for tax.

Carl that's a good point about driving a 35 year old car 70 miles after sitting for 3 years.

i thanks for the offers guys, i'll be pm'ing some of you. as I said though, I haven't even seen it yet though.
