Hey stevie do you remember andy nicholls maestro?
(which was once the fastest fwd road legal car in the uk until in Rover fashion it rotted away)

What was the time on that cause i know it was a monster.

His 220 though is even more powerful. *tired*

I certainly do....He had it at TOTB1, and possibly TOTB2. He was also at the IOM Jurby the time I was there in 2004.
He still has the Maestro I think.

Well...he had a white one and a blue one. Pretty sure he still has one. I think the Maestro was 11's or 12's At TOTB2 he ran like 12.48 ( checked old results ). Probably on road legal tyres, as the DOT stuff hadnt really kicked off then.

He moved onto the Rover, as people could relate to it better when it comes to him offering tuning bits for Rovers. Same engine etc....
its making an incredible amount of power, as the 152mph terminal suggests !!!

Andy has pretty much held the fwd title in the UK for 10+ years. Aside from a short stint of a few weeks where James Golf was quicker than him in 2007.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

I seen Andy Nicholls on the AET stall at the autosport show over the weekend.

I hope hes still got his white one. That was a lovely car. He won against the rwd cars that year but lost against rocket ronnie. The fastest 1/4 mile ive found hes done is 12.02 but i bet hes done faster.

There was a turbo tigra as well that put some good times in. Looked a mess though.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

The Sirocco used to be fwd as said, But is now TT running gear. 1.8 vag lumb but not 1.8 anymore not sure what size with a 20v head. Also Runs alot of gas.

Its from over Accrington way. 2 guys over there built it. The other lad used to run a Clio TT (350bhp). Which regually returned mid 11's.

But he sold it for a big yank thing now.

I only found this after purchasing a engine of said guy. Nice chap runs a huge Renault breakers over in Accrington .

Heres some results from the castrol RWYB 2007.

http://www.rwyb.co.uk/cc_results2007.php.

N/A saxo ran a 12.9...!

Si p

Just looked at the Photo again and the said yank thing above is the car behind the Sirocco
