I could do with a CAD drawing for it *smiley* could get some made then.... or atleast one anyway, got a friendly TIG welder here...

Jims was just made by cutting the top off a std plenum, is this the way yours is done?

Id prefer to make one from scratch.

How many turbo engines are red?

How many are green, with a pressed steel rocker cover?

Enough said!

I can smell your breath from here!

It made more power than last year on the same boost...
Intercooler and rockers have clearly done the trick!

150 at the wheels is good mate! should equate to a v.good flywheel power. MW managed 144 at the wheels on the RR day. Obviously you cant really compare the two unless they were both done same day same rollers but its certainly interesting.

Different measuring sticks, different days!

I'm not a total power junkie - a fast 1/4 time is all i'm concerned with!

thats good power dave, althought i agree with you on the two points you made, firstly i love the look of the green engine, the only reason why mine is red is because i just wanted to get some colour on it and i needed to get the engine in asap when i was doing it.

when it come out i will be doing mine in the austin green, but with an alloy rocker cover.

and also like you said, its not all about power (ok yes it is to a certain degree) but if you can make good times it proves you had set up the car well suspension wise etc.

good luck to everyone this weekend!
