So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Interesting figures and comments, believe it or not I do want the motor to be street driveable and try to manage the boost to give a progressive torque jump in - interesting comment evolution - its all part of the plan!!

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

im guessing a 28 with a bigger comp wheel , .and the smaller turbine to bring in response over the bigger 28's.. that turbine back pressure and the intercooler effectiveness , will decide the outcome ,oh ,and if the block doesnt split in half about 2 inches below the deck .
35 votes now and counting ! damn good .

Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet

Sounds interesting. I'd say that it was easy, assuming you used "proper" fuel.

Get a load of Methyl TertiaryButyl Ether and add 4% Tetraethyl Lead in Ethylene Dibromide. Then add 2% of Methyl aniline and then finish it off with 2% of di-cyclopentadiene.

It will cost but see you with about 160 MON. Should take some boost and make some seriously high cylinder pressures.

I think there was a methanol A series making about 300BHP in a non-transverse setup. Bit of a rumour though and I think was totally extreme.

One of the guys I know used to be a ST man at BMC and they put a marshall cabin blower on an 850 mini minor and got 100hp at the wheels. Snag was they had to rebuild it every 2 weeks.

Good luck with the testing.

Bugger off, I'm getting there.
