I read somewhere that the co2 can create a frost layer on the intercooler core and act as a thermal insulator until the frost melts, a bit like an igloo! On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

The article my mate told me about was in Practical Electronics magazine. Haven't got a copy to hand to scan in, but could be worth a flick through at WH Smiths? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Matt if it's "Everyday Practical Electronics" (Jan 08) I've found a copy on line, if it's a different article could you get me a copy as it's always good to compare designs. Can't do much with it for a week or so mind as I'm off to France in a few hours. Just read thi post Rob. See above ^^^

Well had a good look at the circuit and can't say I particularly like the design (like so much in the world of electronics it's based on another circuit that did something totally different) but I should be able to build one pretty cheaply. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

I had two attempts at etching the circuit board last weekend (along with a load of other boards) and both attempts failed :( strangely all the boards I designed worked fine (might have something to to do with the width of the tracks and the angular corners) so I'm in the process of redesigning the board (the more tweaking I do the worse the original design appears to be). On the plus side the circuit is based on a NB Lamba gauge so I'm going to make sure that the board can be used for either. PS. Anyone know why my spell checker (Firefox) does like the words gauge & Firefox? Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
