shit deal dude :(

same thing happened to me in october, chappie came in on a friday afternoon, 20 mins later we were shut down and out the door.
the mini was on its back arches though with a bootful, lol.

Should be pretty easy for you to find a job though mate, i've seen no end of welder/fabricator jobs advertised while i've been looking. not much going in the way of locksmith work for me though, been on the rock since mid october.

Got me an interview tomorrow though so fingers crossed...

Haven't done sheet metal work for 5 years....apart from homework. If it gets grim on the job front, then I'll go back to it. :(

odd sizes too, i.e 1.35mm. I shall make a list up. Might be handy for jets etc.

shame to hear about the job loss milamber, but good fabbys are in short supply. We have serious trouble finding good people who can do our stuff. We have an awesome place five minutes from the workshop in Snetterton, yet we have had to go to Tamworth to get new stuff made! Best of luck anyway. If there are any imperial equivalent sizes may have some drills off you though.

Harsh news, chin up buddy, you've got a trade and a skill so you are ahead of a lot of folks out there, something will come through for you I am sure, these days it is all about presenting yourself in the best way possible, so if you have any friends who work in HR etc sit down with them and get yourself a good CV prepared.

Thanks for the support chaps! :)
As soon as I've acquired a flypress, I'll be at it again. Only enjoy fabrication as a hobby.

Edit: Had a quick look Joey. 11.4mm is the cloest so far. Will let you know.
