i need to get the block and crank ect sorted first, would you go for a kit from somewhere like morspeed or med?

Or dose anyone know of someone small and reputable, somewhere near manchester?

i am planning on +.020 bore, face, acid dip, 11 stud, 5/16 box bolts and C.M.S. on the block, re ground, ni-temp and polished crank and balanced rods.

Have i missed anything important? or equally going a bit far?

Thanks guys

Wow, what a blast from the past.

I'm really suprised I said this as the head MED did for me lasted 50 miles before blowing into the water jacket. This led to destroying the bore and piston rings in number three and the contaminated oil ruined my turbocharger and mains.

I must admit MED did sort me out a replacement head and large discount off new pistons/machine work - but I still ended up out of pocket.

Why not try TurboPhill or BenRoss for head porting.

I use a MED head - they high boost jobby. The quality of the work seems to be good (in my opinion) And no faults - it has been independently pressure tested etc by my local maching shop - they recon its the dogs b*****s

Give turbo phil a shot if you are after a new head...

They are pretty good and a proven part of a race winning package.
