The VW Diesel is heavy and has got no power vs the BMW counterparts. Rubbish.

The 20V 4cyl engine is a heavy fucker too. There are much better engines out there:

VR6 is cast iron weighs several thousand punds and has got less power than anything from this century.

Let's face it, VW don't really make any good engines at the moment.

Is this good besides being big? Why has the M5 got nearly as much power are the twin turboed RS6.

mr2 turbo engine tweeked by fensport to 600bhp.

toyota 4age mounted in front but RWD thatd be nice,

its so hard to try something different that hasnt been done before isnt it.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

3 engines, if you wnat to be different!

3 hayabusas. 1 in the front and 2 in the back. 4WD and all turbocharged.

Apparenty you can have 500bhp from a turbo busa, so this should make 1500bhp.

Might be a stupid idea, but it's certainly different.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

But it needs stratoscopic rpm and doesn't have any of the good stuff down low.

Agreed, but imagine the V10 M5 with twin turbos. It'll kill the RS6 undoubtedly.

theoneeyedlizard, that`s actually a dam good idea... 3x turbo hyabusa donks,,, now we`re talking real grunt & bulk traction

4 turbo donks might be a bit on the over kill side tho,,, but still do-able if you wanted total insanity

KISS, "Keep It Simple Stupid"--> 2 engines will do as long as you keep the total weight down to a reasonable 350kgs cause then at approx 900hp & 350kgs & 4wheel drive, well,,, that`s pretty dam good package hey?

But 3 turbo hyabusa donks is quite tempting *smiley*

a LIL fishing village on the coast - Newcastle Upon Tyne

volvo 850 T5 lump !!! not been done yet and it would go silly silly quick and be reliable too !!! if you did AWD you could chop down the prop shaft and have an undrivable short wheelbase 4wd mini :) T5 will cane a scooby any day of the week, they are only good for 120 -140 ish T5 will easily do 160 and i know this for rock solid fact !!!!! engines are made of cast aluminium and 8nt that heavy, a sniffle would get you 300bhp easy, pop the ricca system in and say hello to an easy 400 bhp, plus the sound is awesome !!

cheaper than the busa option. but if i had the cash that is where i would go, sack the idea of two engines it never works well, raced against astra gte's in the past with 2lt turbo in the front and 2lt turbo in the back it is hard to get the throttle and same bhp outta both engines one either pushes or pulls the other.
