Hi, ive sent you a PM with the details, as far as sensor brackets go, i think Tom Fentons mate was doing some, but not for a while yet... i think Specialist components do them too. or make one!

My second one (I wanted a spare!) has just arrived. Spot on again Ross.

Note for jonb_5 .... when you're thinking about a bracket some of the "bought" ones (including, I think Tom's one) are meant for a pulley which has had the teeth machined directly into the damper part of the pully so the sensor will be in a different position to using one of these. Check first or make your own. I made my own but I specifically wanted one of these wheels because I put mine on the back of the pulley.

I just have to be different....

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

I have looked at a couple, and to be honest I think I could make my own bracket, I have afew pictures and can fabricate it around the sensor, do I just have to aim it at the wheel as square on a possible? Is that the idea, 90 degress of TDC.

Thanks

Jon

Jon,
The sensor has to be 90° anti clockwise of the missing tooth, (looking at the waterpump end) no matter where you situate it. i have see ones fitted to the 2 bolts holding the engine mount plate to the engine, pointing straight up, and then the wheel just rotated to suit.

if you start the car running on the EDIS only (MJLJ not connected) you get 10° fixed advance. get a timing light on it, if it says 10° then its spot on..... if not, adjust the trigger wheel to suit,. its a simple as that.

Rod,
im loving the fitting on the back of the pulley, got any closeups of how you mounted it? maybe i could adjust sizes on the wheels to suit better fitment. or even easier ways of fitting the sensor.

Dave, Glad your happy with it, good ole natter we had!! LOL.

Ross.
