Long time since I've written anything here, but haven't been sleeping...
MOT is constantly being updated to suit my needs and driving"style"...
Changed some things due to wear, and som things cause I felt for it. New CV's on the left side, new wheels again...12x6 and Yoko A048Rs. Clutch release bearing, (the arm was broken too), rear track- and camber brackets, vented 7,5"brakes and so on and so forth... Life is joyful!!
Has taken MOT to one trackday, one track-weekend and one drag event! She is making a stir everywhere I take her! Thank you Jon, for letting me take her off your hands! *Cloud 9*
Here is a couple of pictures...and a link to the drag-thing.(Street Legal 1/8 mile)
The interesting part is after 4.40...

What is the grip/handling like with this wheel/tyre combination compared to the 10"ers?

More to the point - What have you done with the 10" split-rims/tyre? They would look great on my car. Are they for sale? lol!

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I like them better! The 55-profile suit my driving, and the track
we usually go to, regarding handling...less flex if you know what I mean?
Grip is fantastic!*surprised*
I actually sold the "split"rims to another mini-maniac. He drives a '92 with converted brakes...and uses the car mainly for auto-slalom in his spare-time.

ooooooooooo! spot on!

how do you find the handling with no rear bulkhead? (i presume that this is the same shell)

i imagine autotest will be quite a good test for it....

They are group 7's from Huddersfield...
Same bonnet, just the lights accting up, same shell as well, and I find that it handles quite well. The cage and bar between the rear towers keeps things in place...would have been a bit stiffer with the rear bulkhead, but it works for me!

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Well... LONG time since I posted here!
The A-series engine commited suicide on the track last may, so it was time to do something completely bonkers to keep up with the rest of the petrol heads in my garage. Will probably get banned from the forum, and a price put on my head for what i have done to MOT, but since there is an ocean between me and most of you, I might as well spill the beans...
MOT is now converted to RWD, and the wheels are propelled by a turbocharged Rotary engine from a RX7.
It did quite well at the Dynopack too...325 bhp at 0.85 bar. Will take it to a trackay this sunday to have fun, and run in a TimeAttack race next weekend. Can't wait!!! *Cloud 9*
