The ECU number you are looking for is Rover Metro GTi/ GTa 16v Spi (uncoded) MNE 101080, the Rover Mini Cooper (uncoded) is MNE 101070.

You need the injector as well. GTa is 0280 150 683 and the GTi should be 0280 150 657, but i have found some to be the 683 one :/

Make sure you use a genuine Bosch Lambda sensor that is specific to the Rover cars, for what ever reason, others do not work, i've tried a few all with the same results.

As with tuning any engine to this extent, emissions can suffer so its important to make sure you blueprint everything from the throttle body, manifold, to the head. Again I cannot stress the importance of the use of the correct cam. and retain the cat, its not that bad, maybe loose 5bhp

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

if i get a full engine conversion from Minisport (what im thinking of getting), will it come with the correct cam and such? if not, which cam do I need? is the Kent MD274 what im after?

is there any point in me fitting 1,5:1 or 1,7:1 rockers, or would it just be a waste of time?

looking at the minisport website, it says:

FUELLING
All conversions use the original injection system with the alloy inlet manifold machined and polished.

is this correct??
