I've always said, the road tax should be abolished, and the 'average joe' who does 10k miles / year in his 30mpg car should be paying sufficiently more on each gallon that 'just' covers the cost of the disc. Some will pay 'over' the odds, others will pay less.

I don't think i'd be plugging that strategy on a 300quid tax disc that a 2-litre Focus costs however; but it probably is still the fairest.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

Some superb! Comments there guys

Put it this way, if there’s any money about someone wants it off you!
Please remember that......*wink*

Interesting how the establishment suddenly pushes global warming to get us to adapt to peak oil

in short we are running out of energy and this is driving up the oil prices.

Hence your fuel bills are going up all around and no ones buying homes because there saving there money for the fuel bills and cost of living etc... it has a massive knock on effect ....Please go to youtube and recherché PEAK OIL

Anyway going back to the car TAX!
More MPG sums the above up……………. ?

Working up the BHP ladder.

Big problem is nobody wants to sacrifice anything so we all sit in the pub drinking our overpriced beer moaning about the government and cost of everything. If enough motorists would all sacrifice a few days from work all at the same time and call in sick (sick of being ripped off by our communist government), the economy of this country would collapse almost overnight. Its that simple, sit at home and do nothing for 3 days.
The government would be forced to listen to the people. We know oil prices are going up but Britain are still paying way over the odds.
Peaceful protests will get us nowhere.
