Yeah, no idea why, but they dont light up, even when connecting the switch's spades together.. |

Have you got 12v+ to one of the 2 wires? If not check fuse with test light, maybe bad connection, otherwise chase wire from switch to fuse box. Also maybe a bad connection in the bulkhead area.

First test with a test light the two wires going to the brake switch (hydraulic or mechanical, whatever yours is). One of the 2 should hold 12v this is the 12v feed from the fuse box, the other wire is the wire that connects to your brake light bulbs. So in reality, If you have a 12v feed and have temporarily touched the 2 wires together you should have 12v at the brake lights. If not then test for continuity between the switch wire and the brake lights and find the missing link! VOILA! Hope this helps. Adriano Edited by apalazz1275 on 9th May, 2008. Adriano

All my electrical problems where down to dodgey connections, mostly with the inline fuse holders.
