Just had a thought....
since she is showing such an interest...
get the musis on the case with the efi stuff!

She was helping me with the Megasquirt build - we just stopped buildiong it for whatever reason; Time to re-start me thinks (probably take me weeks to figure out where exactly we got upto)!!!

It will be quicker, but I am not going to go an make the thing lighter - unless it is something easilly done and done quickly. The thing has already done a 13.6 - a clutch that can take more than 16psi, a quaife diff, and of course more power from EFi and more than 16psi boost - we should easilly be in the 12's without touching the 'non mechanicals'...

However, as i mentioned - the paint is starting to bubble around the edges; next strip and build will see it a little lighter. The Recaro seats, carpet, and steel front end are STAYING however :) I think getting rid of weight from the back end is where I want to concentrate my efforts.

I dont understand the efi problems...etc etc. well, never tried or experienced.

But given the problems, why not just stick with the carb ?

Fit a well specced turbo, and srew 30psi into it *happy*

I was looking at an uprated CT9 a friend was fitting to a Starlet the other day. Easily capable of 200+, and the thing is like a toy its so small !!!!!

There has to be massive room for improvement on the A-series with turbo selection.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Steve,
Would you stick a carb on your granada?
Jean / Paul have already made inroads to MS A-series EFI - I don't want to just wait till everyone else has figured it out - If I get back in with it, it'll happen sooner.,..

Already have more turbos than i can shake a stick at to choose from - and nothing larger than a GT28, or smaller than a GT17.

I was starting to wonder if I was all alone.
