wil_h, I could not find a detailed description of your mods, could you point at please.
So it's an std 998 with a 1300 head, std valves and 7psi, isn't it ? Which camshaft ?
My VNT15 refuses to make less than 130kpa at 5000RPM, so I'm still wondering about the safe limit without IC. It would be nice to hide the IC somewhere.

This is the build thread, I think it answers your questions. I currently run a little over 0.5 bar (according to the gauge) I'd be pretty happy to run this psi with no IC and 9.3:1 CR. http://www.turbo-mini.com/62147.html

I remember now, I've already seen it.
Your IC was actually rather inefficient. I think using a small well exposed should work as well.

I assume that you mean the posisioning, as in behind the bonnet in zero airflow.

Cheers for all the comments guys

Of course. This shows (once again with all stock badly exposed IC, even on 2L 305hp Maserati Ghibli II) there is a huge margin. Perhaps a fan controlled by the temperature of the air exiting the compressor would be enough. Or even installing the IC in parallel to the water rad.
