fueling i think is the evaporation seems common on people TM's from the heat of the turbo and exhaust manifold raising up to the carb :) may be wrong though

I did think it might the fuel evaporation, but the bottom of the carb was cold to touch.

do you have a lamda gauge in it?

i'm thinking it could be the choke seals, causing it to occasionally going rich so it wont idle withut extra air.

maybe have a look for black smoke out the back when its doing it, or play weth the choke to see if it stops/starts it.

I do have a lambda gauge, and its dropping off the lean end when idling. Im thinking it must fuel vaporisation. Because sometimes it will idle nicely when warmed.

Im gonna have to revise my heatsheild and try and improved it.
