I would check your power cable to the pump - is it getting hot?

The pump is now having to draw about ten times the current that it used to. If the cable feeding it is too small it will get hot, you will get a volt drop and the pump will slow down.

I would think something like this would do the job. Do you know what pressure your injectors are sized to work at?

Can't see why not as long as the FPR could cope and its not waaaayy out? *oh well*

I would think something around the 3Bar 150L/Hr would be fine. Looking at some of the pumps on ebay they have pumps flowing 255L/Hr and say they're good for 500bhp (@80psi), listed for supra, starlets etc...They also mentioned the standard pump flows 132L/Hr (@80psi) so may be worth checking what the standard pressure is?

If you want to buy new, the Walbros are good value. GSS 392 is the "bigger" version, in-line.

But pretty much any Bosch efi pump will be more than adequate.

sorted wahoo. avonpark here we come.

right so my new replcement metty turbo pump arrived sat morning, took old pump off and noticed its a sytec injection pump so surely should be upto job, so must be faulty. fitted me new pump and within 5 mins was making same noise as old one, Doh! checked all fuel lines again- still bad. removed fuel filter and retryed-still bad. hmm pissing me off by now. anyway i decided to rip the tank out and have a nosey inside. all looks good so i decided to knock the little guaze off the pick up pipe, and guess what it works fine know so i left it off not ideal but will get me to avon. done about 25 miles tonite and touch wood it went fine.

thabks for the help people.

p.s i fitted me old pump coz its better than me ebay special.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Carl - I honestly suspect you'll run into issues with the stock pump on an efi turbo.
If you can stretch to a different (but a quality, not nangbingchang shite) pump, then do so.

That gauze in the bottom of the tank is a total PITA - sometimes it's not a problem, other times it's always the problem.
