remember that rich, still got the pics of hartside .that was 10+ years ago , the car has changed a bit since then.

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

The first turbo mini I saw in the flesh was my own, nine years ago no. It was a pile of crap then.

cant really remeber the first one i saw i think it was an era at a show or summot after fitting a stage one kit to my 1275 and thinking this is still sh1t slow i thought stuff this ill fit a turbo, so i did and built myself probably what is the slowest turbo in GB (but it still rocks though)

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Have to be honest here. I have never actually seen a Turbo Mini in the flesh. I had been running a couple of bangers for a few years and I got the chance to buy a half decent shell. It had been partly deseamed and the front chopped off. I was trying to decide what to put in it when I got the chance of a complete Metro Turbo. That was about six years ago now and hopefully I should get it on the road before much longer. Just at the painting and fitting in the nice to haves (seats etc) stage just now. Have picked up lots of tips from you guys on this forum. Keep up the chat for the sake of the newbies.

i didnt really get influenced by any turbo mini, mine was destined to have mg metro power, then a day before it was due to got to the sprayers i found a metro turbo for not much money, bout an hour later i had a nice big hole in the bulkhead! lol

glad i did it now tho, all that torque steer, i can hold it but the passengers dont know that

the first turbo mini which one i have seen was mine. in 1996 i found a metro on a scrap yard in italy and there it was writte turbo on the door. in slovenia we do not have metros so, two years later i found another metty turbo in italy which engine was installed to my mini. till than i even did not know if it was possible.
1999 in silverstone mini meeting i saw the second turbo mini in my life. it was GIALLOFLYS turbo mini. he is the first men with whom i spoke about turbo minis. his mini was the first turbo mini i took the picture.
