Trailing arms = camber change with roll

semi trailing = toe change with roll - good for a bit of rear wheel steer ie pug 306.

You what?

A Sierra for example has semi trailing arms.

Peugeot 306's have trailing arms with no camber or toe change in bump or droop.

Don't agree, been like it over 18 months no problem. Even after a run the carbon can doesn't really get especially hot anyway.

Actually been meaning to mention this.
If you start getting constant late to mid 11s, you may have a shout for the fastest front wheel drive car (as long as its MOT'd)

Back once again like a renegade master

Steady away boys, fastest so far has been 12.36, that .36 will take some getting as well.

However, never say never, as this time last year no-one had been into the 12's yet.

Smart install Tom. Did you have it on when you went to Cadwell?

That trailer looks familiar..........

lol Tom.
Be interesting to see the difference on the track. Like the suspension setup, looks such a simple idea. :)

Is this expected to make it quicker on the 1/4 or circuit?

I seriously doubt it!

Tis a nice boot floor blocker!

As a diffuser the angle (to reduce drag)is too great by about a factor of 10

As a venturi the angle of attack would work but you'd need to run the cars floor 25mm off the road and have side skirts in constant contact with the road!

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

what, ??. a factor of 10

which factor, 1 ,2 5 or 10, because if it's 1 its going to work well, if its 10 its still going to work to some extent,
its never going to pull the rear down, its not rigid ly mounted enough to do that , but it will smooth out the flow.

Carl, looking at the angle from the pic I'd say it was 20° ish? - optimum angle for a "diffuser" - not a "venturi" is between 2°-4°. Blocking the hole off, no matter how you do it will be an improvement!

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!
