CVL is good gear for sure, i've used it for a number of years in the race engines. Just swapped over to Silkolene proboost (non lead replacement) as it seemed a cheaper option. I'll let you know how i get on.

What makes a hydrocarbon chain pure ??? lol

On a different note anybody running there diesel on chip fat ??

Correction!

It Is Miller VSP Plus, Raises "up to " 2 octane pionts and treats 40 litres, So maybe not quite as good as CVL.

I'll try it in my bike first.

Quite a few Pete, you could try macdonalds !! lol

On a serious note a haulage firm close to me swapped to running rapeseed oil pure, they had a few problems with filters (most likely due to the high viscosity). By the time they paid Gordon Brown his 21 pence per litre tax on the oil they were still saving 20p a litre over pump diesel. If you run a blend with diesel i think it should prevent any problems !

Pete i don't think adding some CVL will do much for your fuel comsumption!!!!

8mpg on average, it is quite alarming when you are powering uphill loaded and the mpg guage is reading 2/3!

daf 480 pulling fridge througout europe on big mountain pulls acros the alps, pirinese at 40 ton your fuel goes out the window, best to switch computer off, olso drove a kenworh 190 with 500 cat twin turbo, use to go to russia sapastapol , oddesa sapharossa, as when out europe we could run on red use to carry 2500 red under trailer, 1400 lts on truck, never driven at truck since with so mutch pulling power, not even your scanias, but at 5MPG ouch.
