An ATB is not a true LSD great if you can keep both front wheels on the tarmac, Similar set up in a short stroke atmo engine of mine that has just won the free formula series in class in Sweden did the last 4 laps with 1 drive shaft broken!! Take out the 3.9 + LSD and flog it to pay for your new stuff!! |

Can you confirm that it does have the 2.31 1st gear and not the 2.16 that Avonbar stock? Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

That is a good time but I don't think you hold the record for mod prod any more Terry Brown's Lenham I am sure he did a 96 a few years back. I did a 100.3 but crept on the start line but then my car is all steel. On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

Yes I rememer Terry Brown, he was in the Sports car class and If i remember correctly they were using 1460 engines not 1275. My class was saloon cars up to 1300cc., The year previous to that I was Joint 2nd in the BARC all round drivers championship, the winner was none other than Jonathan Palmer of F1 fame who now owns Brands Hatch and runs the Palmer single seater series that use the Audi engines.I know no one with a Mini engined Mini has come close. |

No this was in the last few years in 1399 guise with a KAD head though although a certain Mr Judge did a 99 just before his blow up On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

Avonbar has been bought out by a very big consortium with 3 sites, 2 in N london and 1 in Colchester, Avonbar as a company now has massive expansion plans, the like of which I certainly could never afford not doing just Mini stuff.
