Just been browsing through pinkbike videos after getting the bug back for riding.

And found these trails ive never heard of!:

Did a quick search to see how close they where to me, 10.7 miles away from my house haha!!

I know where i'll be going once the mini is done and i have nothing else to do with my spare time:)

Im lucky to have something like this so close, i never realised!!

Surely if your near portsmouth you need to head to either petersfield trials or winchester, both massive and insane, they scare me just looking at them.....

last time i was at petersfield some 15 year old went for a 360 double tailwhip and landed on one pedal and rolled out, i promptly road to my car and went home, getting to old for this, but i have just brought a dmr drone to go with my trialstar, sweet cro-mo rocks!!!

Where abouts are the trails in Winchester?

Wouldnt mind building my own next summer so I can progress at my own pace, but I guess you need to constantly challange yourself with the big stuff to get better

i would say yes and no to this, it is always nice to gain the confidence to go bigger and higher but doing big leaps up in jump size imo is bad taking from experiance from parcor! i would love to make my own run but its so difficult when there is no garden to do it on or a good wooded area close by :(
on a plus side i should be getting my new bike end of this week early next week cant wait to start the wait loss lol

We spent many hours building jumps but always got told to knock them down or someone kindly did it for us!

Was spaeking to a mate yesterday and he showed me some videos of him lake leaping into a quarry literally 500m from my house!

The jumps or should i say small mountains in winchester are right on the m3 junction with the a31, if you know the area then there near the park and ride. then there in the woods next to the car park, there chalk based so in the winter they get very slippary!!!

how car is portsmouth from swindon? as im currently off work atm and you seem to be online all the time when i get my bike do you want to go for a ride?

Haha its about an hour and a half!!

I'm only online when the boss is out the office in a meeting

My bike is in bits at the mo and needs a few parts, but im broke thanks to going ape and getting tonnes of bits for my car lol.

But id defo be up for a ride, could try get all the riders from tm to meet up for a sesh

i'd be a laugh, but bit of a trek for me,

yeah i'd definately be up for that, although big jumps scare me these days, but yes come and check the car out anytime, I've just had the roof and bootlid painted and i'm going to get the carbon arches and bumpers painted to, its such a shame that the curley stuff went white!!!!!! All that money for the show weave effect and now i've had to paint it!!!

Funnily enough I was out on my bmx all day yesterday in the nice weather, first time ive ridden it in ages and it was alot of fun!! I think it might even be more fun than my 24", albeit abit painfull getting used to rigid landings.

my new beast should arrive 2moz minus the front wheel :( but thats on its way too lol. i got used to rigid landings and feel first time having a suspension bike in over a year and a half =/ going to be very odd
