Don't forget that I'm still building the K100 headed 980 turbo for my wife's car.

At least fit some 5/16UNFs in there instead of metric ones. M8 bolts are shit to have anywhere on your Mini. They WILL find their way elsewhere. I thought you at least would be wise enough to realise that there is something wrong when the bolt goes tight on only three or four threads. I can see the difference just by looking at them. thread pitch is noticebly different When I got my manifolds from Mirage Richard very kindly send me some 5/16 k-nuts to fix the manifold to the head and some M8 k-nuts for the turbo, I spent a good half an hour swearing before I figured it out. I've bent the jets to point at the piston crown but we may need to bend them a bit more to clear the gudgeon pin boss in the piston. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

I just spot it with the mig to minimise the heat. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

Instead of the GT1752 we are now using the GT2056, it seems to be more efficient at the boost levels we wish to run in the future. |
