Genius that man!

I think the wheels finish it nicely.

Brilliant

Thanks again andy , apreciate it.

Suppose id best explain why.

For some strange reason ive allways liked porsche rivera blue (very similar to the colour in the pic) , I no there are a million colours out there to decide on but i think the mini can carry pastle colours very well and i like the blue.

I wanted things to be different though so insted of just painting the roof i decided scuttle up. The reason for the grey (its going to be metallic by the way) is the frame work is going to be grey so i thaught id carry the colour outside the car.

Im now deciding what colour to do the ally paneling inside the car because i think the ally will look old and mucky very easyly, im thinking blue to match the car then its just two colours rather than having loads. I had thaught of a darker grey so there will still be a distinkt line between the tube and ally floor.

Any comments.

Rick

ally = blue. keep the theme.

oh and your a bastard. mine was going to be two tone with the same split line as you have mentioned. first off started as black and white.

then i though na i like some red in there. then i saw Ians and thought yeah i'd look abit too much like im copying!

then the other week we had to touch up this danish blue VW and had some spare of that left over so tried it up aginst some grey stone chip.

i thought i had cracked my colour code....until now *tongue* lol

i think i might hit the Black and white again.

Well i had thaught of just all black with grey frame but sort of decided on blue years ago so think am going to stick with it.

Black is an absolute swine to keep clean but it is awsome when it is, id never have another road car black but a toy yes.

I'd keep the blue/grey scheme Rick.

I think it would keep the car looking complete, If you know what i mean.

Also it would help connect the inside to the outside and vice versa.

Si

P.S i spent an age trying to choose a colour for mine. Then a guy at work mention the colour for it. And that was that. Took the choice away from me. If he did'nt i think it would still be in primer now. *hehe!*

I drill holes in everything..!

Right its paint time, well in two weeks anyway.

just thaught id dig this back up as im not sure what to do.

Obviously im sticking with the blue (allthough it has been debated)
so my question is whats peoples opinions and do they have any other ideas or pics to show me.

Am not sure if im going to sticker the car up or not but most two tone paint schemes seam to work best when stickerd up.

Hers how the car is now and these are the things ive been looking at.

All the inside is gray, the only thing inside thats blue is seats and harnesses. Any feed back would be great, my consern withe the pic that andy did is that am not sure the roof looks atatched to the car being blue?

With a paint job that looks that good, It would be a shame to cover it in stickers. I'd be tempted to give it a black roof and maybie black detailing like wheelarches and bumpers ect.

Edit: spelling

Second edit: Just looked at the first page of the thread, Grey detailing is the way forward!

I had thaught of putting the company logo across the door and quarter (but painting it on then laquer over it)

One thing about repainting a car is in a sense you get to choose any colour you want. Invariably this ends up changing many times throughout the build, I hate it.
