I have officially caught the TurboMinis high boost bug!

Today I have ordered a set of 73.5mm 18cc Forged Accralites!

Just got to strip the engine down and get them in there.

Avonbar. I was going to go direct, but I used the 10% January discount that Avonbar were offering, so it worked out about the same.

Not much progress.

Pretty much all of the welding is done.

So a bit of undersealing was in order.

I know the oversills police will be onto me soon but they were on there when I got the car.

The original sills have been cut out and these have been put in place. I am asuming this is because of cost.

I plan on putting some holes in them to let them breathe.

Subframe is also off again and in my garage for rebuilding.

Could you let me know how much it costs to rebuild.

I'm weighing up the difference between buying one like this or one from the scrappy.

Well GT17 arrived today. TBH it's goosed. Compressor wheel has been rubbing the housing.

Back on the hunt I suppose.

I'm half tempted to use it to fit everything up and then buy a new one!

Well the shitbox is home. Hasn't faired too badly considering its been sat outside for 5 months. Need to get my finger out and get it prepared for paint.

I also managed to put my dash together.

Top left gauge is a TIM oil temp, top middle is an AEM Wideband gauge, top right is a TIM 1BAR boost gauge (i also have a TIM 2BAR gauge when I feel like more than 15psi of boost), bottom left is a TIM water temp gauge, bottom middle is a TIM voltage gauge and finally bottom right is a TIM oil pressure gauge.

Hopefully progress updates should be more frequent now.

Looking good. Is all the welding done now?

All those gauges look great in the dash, go well with the white dials clocks.
